"This year was our fifth trip to the Weiss lake property. We have always taken home crappie but this year was our best. At least half was caught fishing from the dock using minnows in the early morning and late evening hours. For those folks that don,t have a boat you can still catch plenty of crappie and enjoy a relaxing trip. The weiss lake house is a beautful home, nicely landscaped and very well furnished. The property owners are great folks and will do everything to make your trip one to remember. I have always been the designated cook and it is great that you don't need to bring pots and pans because the kitchen is well stocked. A big plus for fisherman is you don't have to trailer your boat because the lake house dock is very spacious and is equipted with a fish cleaning station. There is plenty of room to tie your boats, electric for battery charging and it is great to come in at noon for lunch and catch a quick nap before going back out. I would recommend the lake house to any fisherman or anyone who just wants to get away and relax. If you stay you will want to come back." - B. Brooks

The home was comfortable and very clean, spotless actually. The view late in the afternoon from the dock with the reflection of the trees from the island across the lake and the absolute stillness of the calm water was priceless. The owner(s) were very friendly, efficient and helpful. There is everything you need for your perfect fishing trip: large open living space and bedrooms (Beds were very comfortable), a large deck and dock with great lighting, water, electricity, and fish cleaning station. Deep water at the dock allows year round use of this property. It is a great location for spring crappie fishing right on the dock. The house is totally furnished and all the amenities included. There are several excellent restaurants within 10 minutes of the property. I highly recommend this place to fisherman and to those just looking for a great getaway on the water.
