We enjoyed the peace and quietness of the area and of the morning instead of cars on the highway the sound of outboard motors on the water was a great sound to me. The view of the sun rising over the mountains is beautiful. If you like to fish you can catch nice crappie right off the dock. (one crappie weight 1 lb. 4 oz.) "My family had a great stay here in early April 2007 for a 3 day fishing trip to Weiss Lake. The cabin was extremely clean. If you would like to stay in a place that is more like a home - stay here! The cabin is very spacious and has both an open and screened in porch. We enjoyed spending time out on the porch swing. Though you feel very secluded due to the lot size and trees around you, you are still close to town for any shopping needs. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They made making arrangements for renting straight forward and simple. I highly recommend staying here and we are already planning our next stay!" - M. Brooks
